THADO EDUPARK DIVERSIFIES AI APPLICATIONS IN WORK

08/04/2025

In the context of rapid technological advancements and the inevitable impact of artificial intelligence (AI) across all fields, the Thado Edupark educational ecosystem, with Thanh Do University at its core, has identified AI applications as a key strategic focus for the 2025–2030 period. To realize this goal, Thanh Do University has organized a seminar series titled “Thado Edupark and AI Applications in Work,” focusing on teaching, research, and educational management.

One of the six competencies outlined in the Ministry of Education and Training’s Digital Competency Framework for Learners (Circular No. 02/2025/TT-BGDĐT) is AI application capability. This includes understanding, using, and evaluating AI systems in an ethical and responsible manner. At Thado Edupark, AI is not just a supporting tool but also a means of fostering innovation in teaching and research.

The widespread influence of AI on various aspects of life and its extensive applications in work and education are undeniable. Consequently, educational institutions must adapt by updating curricula to align with technological trends and societal needs, as well as adjusting teaching methods and assessment strategies accordingly. Instructors must enhance their technological competencies and provide necessary guidance to learners.

Associate Professor Dr. Phan Thi Thanh Thao, Rector of Thanh Do University

Chairing the seminar, Associate Professor Dr. Phan Thi Thanh Thao, Rector of Thanh Do University, emphasized that instead of fearing AI will replace humans, faculty and staff should adapt and leverage technology to enhance work efficiency.

She also highlighted the “Thadoer” spirit of thinking boldly, acting decisively, and embracing change—utilizing AI to improve work efficiency across the Thado Edupark educational ecosystem.

The seminar attracted significant interest from faculty and staff, with speakers sharing insights on how AI can optimize lesson planning, innovate teaching methods, improve assessment techniques, and support scientific research.

AI in Teaching and Assessment

Master Nguyen Van Dien, Deputy Head of the IT Department, demonstrated how ChatGPT, Gamma App, and Canva can be integrated for efficient lesson planning. He provided in-depth training on applying ChatGPT in various academic tasks within Thado Edupark, including teaching-specific applications such as coding assistance, diagramming, model creation, assignment development, as well as applications in student recruitment and communication. He also discussed how to craft effective prompts to maximize ChatGPT’s accuracy and efficiency.

Master Dinh Thi Thanh Huyen, Deputy Head of the Tourism and Foreign Languages Department

Master Dinh Thi Thanh Huyen, Deputy Head of the Tourism and Foreign Languages Department, guided faculty members in using AI tools like Edcafe AI, ClassPoint, and Quizzi AI to enhance teaching. These tools help create engaging lesson plans, foster student motivation, and support foreign language instruction through gamification.

Teacher Nguyen Thi Ngoc from Unigo Primary & Secondary School

Teacher Nguyen Thi Ngoc from Unigo Primary & Secondary School shared practical AI applications in teaching, such as using Wordwall for Vietnamese language lessons, Suno for creating songs, and Animate for converting voice into video. These tools make lessons more dynamic, improve student engagement, and facilitate interaction between learners and technology.

In this regard, Associate Professor Dr. Phan Thi Thanh Thao emphasized the role of educators in transforming teaching methodologies, curriculum development, and learning outcome assessments.

One major challenge for educational institutions in the AI era is the issue of assessment—how to accurately evaluate students’ knowledge, skills, and development. How should assessment methods evolve? How should questions and exam formats change?

Master Bui Duc Thinh, Deputy Head of the Training Department, underscored the need to innovate assessment strategies in the AI era. Online tools, question banks, and automated grading systems ensure fairness and accuracy in evaluating student performance.

Dr. Vu Thi Thanh Minh, Editor-in-Chief of the Scientific Research and Development Journal, presented how AI can assist in checking for plagiarism, translating academic texts, detecting grammatical errors, organizing references, and enhancing research quality.

AI Application: A Necessary Trend

The seminar series “Thado Edupark and AI Applications in Work” provided valuable insights for faculty and staff in the Thado Edupark ecosystem. More than just using AI tools for specific tasks, the key takeaway was recognizing the profound and inevitable impact of technological advancements. With the right mindset, every member of the ecosystem can actively participate in implementing and optimizing AI applications to enhance efficiency and productivity.

AI in education is no longer optional—it is an inevitable trend. Thado Edupark is steadily advancing its digital transformation strategy, equipping faculty and students with essential skills to adapt and thrive in the AI era.
